Title: BT crashed...restarted...now I'm seeding twice!
Post by: greenone on January 14, 2005, 10:14:45 AM
Ok, this is weird...left my torrents running at work, came back to find that the program had crashed (Tomato Torrent, OS X.3.7), so I force-quit and restarted. Everything started back up fine, but now I appear TWICE in the peer list for each torrent! Anyone ever have this happen before?

Yup, you're not alone.  (I thought software never crashed on MAcs?)  :P  Some trackers refresh more swiftly than others.  The tracker likely will refresh soon and you'll appear only once in the peer list.

Software crashes on occasion...especially 3rd-party applications. The OS, never. :)

Thanks for the tip - good to know I'm not killing my connection with double the uploads/downloads...
