Title: Jb3 question

I have read the faq and still need help. I would like to be able to record tonite but the 2 main problems Im having is a cant download the software to the pc. I have tried via the installation cd and from creative's site. Both of them say "RPC Server is not availabe". I aslo cant load the new Firmware to the unit because it says I dont have the device connected when it is. Windows can see the device and alert's me when it is plugged/unplugged but this problem may be from not being able to having the software fully installed. I guess I need to call customer support but wont be able to do that today which will lead to no recording. Fwiw Im running firmware 1.11.

Suggest you upgrade to at least 1.20.06. You'll have levels then. Best of luck.

Thanks guys! I figured out it was my laptop at home that just happened to start acting up the day I decided to download the software. I tried to wach a WMF and got the same rpc server error so I downloaded it at work successfully. Now I just need to download firmware.
