Title: PCM-R300 reads CAUTION wtf?
Post by: Kevin on January 21, 2005, 07:58:39 PM
I just turned on my PCM-R300 and put a tape in it to test the connection again as I had moved it from one room back into my bedroom and wanted to make sure everything was ok.  At first it seemed everything is ok put then it wont roll tape so I pressed stop then eject, welll now it says "CAUTION" and wont let me do anything but turn it off.  Has anyone had this problem?  wtf DAT player/recorder are like dealing with a high maintenance girl...
if anyone could help it would be appreciated
thanks
Kevin

jerryfreak is right, i think.  If memory serves me right, that means Condensation in the deck.  A quick call to Pro-Digital can probably confirm that if you have a free second during the day.
