which combo of shock mounts and t-bar have you guys found to work the best and have an economical price?

Great question I was wondering the same thing +T

the AKG KM235 T bar can be had new for 20 some dollars. I think you can order the supperlux shockmounts from ray at supperluxus for like 6 bucks each. Shockmounts are not the best(plastic threading that gets stripped after awhile)but they are economical. I've had mine for a little under a year and they still work fine.

Definitely use the Superlux shocks w/ the mics...cheap and good! I used to use the AKG bar, modified it so one side rose above the other. Got sick of it after a while though and just made a homemade vert bar like others have made here. It uses 3/8 threads so you can just leave the metal adapters in and they don't strip the plastic threading inside the shocks.
