I need to put together some cases to haul around and protect a couple JB3's, a UA-5 and set of mics.
I guess I'm looking for a good outlet for various sizes of hard plastic cases and a suggestion on what type of foam or padding I can stick in there and carve out to hold the stuff.
I've looked around many stores locally but found nothing to suit my needs.

Thanks. That helps on the foam. Still can't seem to figure out where a guy can go to find an actual selection of cases. It doesn't need to be pretty - just functional (compact as possible but still offering suitable protection for the gear).

check out the pelican cases website.
or visit those tupperware stores in the mall.
Check out eBay too. Sometimes you can find a good used one for half the price. Depending on your flavor.

If you want to get a pelican micro look on ebay thats sheapest place for them. Or you could mod a cd case for your JB3 like many have done on this board. I believe most were using the wooden ones you can find at walmart. Search for a thread on a crush resistant case for the JB3 and you will see some pics of the mods.
