Title: Anyone use Roxio 6.0 and have problems with errors?

I am ready to rip by burner out and smash it against the wall >:( !
 This is really pissing me off! I went through more than 15 discs last night.
It will burn all the way to the end and get to 97% in finalizing then it pops up
an error box with an error code and you have to hit ok once I do it shuts Roxio down.
Now the cd plays but has a bunch of digi noise probably because it did not finish finalizining.
 This error box had popped up when I first installed the program and it shut down the program a few times but then it stopped and I have burned over 1000 cd's since I'm sure without the error. Now it is doing it almost everytime I burn.
 Has anyone else had issues with their Roxio 6.0 any thoughts what this could be? Do you think it is my burner if so how can I check to be sure.
 I am going to buy another program any suggestions? This really sucks because I burnt some flac discs and audio discs yesterday morning and they work fine???

Roxio sux -- NEVER had any good experiences with it and ended up needing to reformat my computer a while back to get rid of it. I'm a strong supporter of Nero (www.nero.com), it hasn't let me down yet.  Nero's pretty inexpensive too.

Another great (but harder to use) program for burning audio disksk (won't burn data disks) is feurio -- www.feurio.de (?) it's shareware that you can try/use for free too.

I'm thinking I might have to reformat mine as well this just sucks!
Luckily my boss just said he will let me use his Nero disc.
 I will try feurio tonight though thanks for the tip +T

When I had that problem, I turned my "buffer underrun prevention" on and it cleared it right up.  Haven't had a problem since.

I just picked up a Plextor  PX-716A DVD drive, and it came with roxio 7.0. I usually use Nero, but do not have the new version, and I wanted to burn a DVD, so I installed roxio. Now, my cdr drvie (with nero5.5) will not burn audio, and roxio will burn, but whatever I burn gets diginoise at the track breaks. I have no sbe's so I do not know what's up. I ininstallecd roxio and I still can not burn audio with nero, so wtf!?!?! I was going to reformat anyway so.......

ez cd sucks ass.  nero rules your face.  NEVER had a problem in 3+ years with it.

this kid from another post gave me this address  www.burnatonce.com  this program is great.  you can even burn flac a lot faster than converting/burning with frontend and then whatever burning program you use.  i used it today for the first time and it rockd the house.  plus, you cant argue with freeware.  :)
