Title: question : how to open a jb3
Post by: andrewkw on January 28, 2005, 11:54:28 AM
The optical jack fell inside my jb3  and I can't get the unit open.  I have a set of percision screwdrivers but none seem to fit.  I've litterly been trying for hours to get it open.  It doesnt seem like any regular sized screwdrivers will fit either.  This is getting so frustrating I almost want to smash the plastic and glue it back together or house it in something else.  I'm probably going to have to buy another jb3 but if i can get this one to work again that would be great.

Any help welcome, thanks.

I used a set of jewler's tools and got her open. 4 screws under the feet and 1 in the battery bay.

Yeah, this is correct.  Do some research inot this first, there is a chance you can break your LCD display...
