Title: Suggestion on BT client to use
Post by: blu666z on January 29, 2005, 01:34:58 PM
Going to be starting fresh with a new install of XP today.  I have been using ABC for a while with little issue.  Any new BT clients worth checking out or should I just stick ABC?

I like and use ABC.  I also have BitTornado installed since it supports single-file downloads from within a larger torrent.  Supposedly, according to the ABC forum, ABC supports this feature as well - but it sure doesn't appear on my latest version of ABC.

ABC is ok, but I use BIT TORNADO...I like it better. ABC had some hiccups with me.

I've started to use BitLord. Pretty sweet.  Used more for illegal stuff but it has some great features:
Intelligent Connection, Auto Optimization for different connections.

· Smart Rate Control, optimize the upload distribution to get the max download rate.

· Disk Allocating, no long-time disk allocation, decrease disk fragment to almost zero.

· Intelligent Hash Scan, no time-consuming scanning when seeding / resume.

Azureus is also a good one.
