Title: dvd burning with nero 6.6
Post by: Gordon on February 02, 2005, 11:42:19 PM
so I got the burner today.  I got nero 6.6 the other day.  installed the nero vision express.  well I tried to burn the wsp dvd on my harddrive.  when I click on make your own dvd video the vision express opens (that is my only option)  I went to the video_ts folder.  it will not let me just drag the folder in.  so I opened it and put all the files into vision express.  burnt a copy and it works but....the menu stuff is all fucked up.  there are 4 menus and they all play the samething and will not skip around etc.  any of that make sence??  I tried to just burn in nero and not vision express but I don't have that option.  unistalled vision express and the samething.

its possible that the wsp dvd wasn't put together properly.  maybe?? i dunno.  might wanna try making your own backup of a normal dvd and see what happens.  it sounds like you're burning it right tho.

I have it as well.  didn't have to use it b/c the dvd was under 4.5 gigs.

DVD Shrink works for DVDs under 4.7 gigs just the same.  if it does not require any compression it will still rip and burn the DVD with 0% compression.  IMO it is the easiest way to make backup copies of DVDs.
