Title: akg km-235 bar/light stand question
Post by: charles on February 05, 2005, 06:12:56 PM
Wanted to know if anyone has any tricks for attaching a akg km-23 stereo mount to a standard light stand. I know I can buy the thread adapter...but I thought there was most likely someone on this board that knows another way to go about it. Something that doesn't involve having something shipped.

Pick up a mic clamp from your local musician's shop, attach it to the stand, then attach the stereo mount to the clamp.

I don't know what a side bar clamp is.  There are a slew of options for mic clamps - just about every musician's gear store I've been in stocks mic clamps of one kind or another.
