what do you mean "a battery?" if you're talking about an li-on then, yes. they have them at wallmart and they're portable dvd player batteries. typically about 4500mah 9volts for around 50 bucks. alternately, you can make/buy a 9volt battery pack. sorry i don't have any links.. your best bet would probably be to check out the power/batteries forum instead of the pre/ad/etc forum. :)

Go to Walmart, the electronics section, and get the portable 9volt DVD player battery, $50.  Many of use it for powering the UA5.  You can also get the Memorex version on eBay.

Also, recommend getting  a better adapter, which is included with the battery, for connecting to UA5.  The adapter included is a little loose and straight.  Go to Radio shack and get the right angle adapter, labeled "M".

As already noted, a LiIon battery will do the trick and is probably easiest - basically plug-n-play.  It may also be the cheapest option depending on prices you find for two alternatives:  an RC or SLA battery.  Check the Archival Info forum for DIY on building these battery solutions.
