Ok, so I've been transfers through Cakewalk's Sonar, but I've been noticing little clicks inbetween tracks after I burn the show. So I want to get a new program. My question is, what program do you guys use to split up a show? What should I get? THANKS!!!!!!!!!

CD Wave. Google it or something to find the link.

Im gonna try it out, thanks for the suggestion!

I just split up my Sonic Youth show from Sunday, it worked great! THANKS!!!

yeah, definitely use cd wave to split shows! i guess you've already found it by now, but for the record, it's the easiest and best way to track a show IMO. now for 24-bit files...i don't think a simple program exists (that i know of) so i just create regions in sound forge and then extract them into tracks. apparently, since sector boundary problems only arise with cd media, it doesn't matter how you split them. i would, however, enjoy the ease of use that cd wave offers for a 24-bit file splitting program. anyone know of one?

Alex, I could burn you a copy of SF 5.0. I got it fo free!!
I have been a little spoiled on the transfer end. I have been loaned a Tascam CDRW5000 rack mount burner, but I am going to have to use SF sometime.....

Simp-Dawg, I also use Sound Forge to split 24-bit files. Is there an easier way than dropping markers, converting to regions, and extracting those regions? I'm assuming not, but maybe I missed something. I also sometimes forget to drop a marker at the very beginning and very end, which messes things up!

i use eac (www.exactaudiocopy.de)
I dunno if it cuts on sector boundaries but I never get complaints and I can't hear it myself
