I use gnomad2 (linux) to control my jb3. Dunno if that has been ported to macosx yet, but perhaps worth having a look? I do know that the backend libraries (libnjb, libusb) have been ported to macosx - gnomad2 is just a pretty user interface built on top of these libraries - so there may yet be hope...

As long as she doesnt have the newest version of Itunes on her mac than Itunes recognizes it no problem. It was found that if you upgrade to the newest version of Itunes that it doesnt recognize it anymore though. I have Itunes 4.6 and have had no problems. Itunes sees the JB3 and then you just drag and drop.

Ok cool. Thanks to all so far. I thought that one had to have a crack to get itunes to see the JB3..+T all around.

The problem is not reconizin' the NJB3 because ya can use itunes. The problem is the slow as hell USB connection and the rate of failure that has been reported in transfer. Good luck, I am pro Mac but just not w/ my NJB3.
Peace

I have had 100% succes rate on transfers using Itunes and have transferred tons of shows to my powerbook that way. I have the newest firmware for the JB3 as well. Since Im not on the road anymore I now use my PC (thats all I actually use it for anymore, that and storage) and it's firewire card. As for USB... It is slower than firewire, but it it waaaayyyy faster than realtime transfers from a DAT.
