Title: Monitoring levels no a jb3
Post by: jdh263 on February 14, 2005, 05:51:04 PM
when recording to a jb3, should the levels come up automatically or do you have to change a setting?

once you go into the monitor recording after selecting mic/line/optical you should have levels.  If you don't verify what type of input source yopu are providing and that your cable is attached properly.  If you can give some more details I can probably answer this question a little more clearly.

Record Audio > Line in > Monitor Recording.  You should have levels if not try increasing the gain.  Are you using a stereo mini-mini plug?

is there a button you have to press to do the monitor recording?  I will try with a different source, but it is a stereo mini- stereo mini plug

Older firmware versions don't include the level meters.  What firmware version are you running?
