Title: Just wondering....
Post by: discopanic1 on February 15, 2005, 07:56:41 PM
what someone would think about an individual selling them a 12v battery pak when they were suppose to get the 6v version?  Maybe I can call tomorrow and get a change.  SORRY about the finger pointing??

dale pro is a respectable business.  if there was a mistake, i can assure you that it wasn't intentional.  why not just call them?    ???

Looks like I missed the finger pointing.  Huh.  Anyway - I agree with Heath:  Call Dale Pro, explain you ordered 6v but received 12v, then ask them politely to send you a 6v and return shipping label for the 12v.  All assuming you actually ordered the 6v, of course.

I had a similar mishap from another online dealer.  They made me pay shipping with the promise that I'd get a credit for the shipping cost.  Unfortunately, the  whole mishap resulted in me nothaving the correct gear for a gig that I was counting on running for which means I'll probably never deal with them again and have just chalked up the shipping costs as a loss.   Hopefully Dale Pro doesn't try to pull that crap on you.

I guess they didn't tell me at first, but they tell me when I called them today they sent 12v b/c holds longer charge.  However, I think I ordered 'whatever pak goes with mixpre'.  I'm gonna quit all finger pointing for now on, except to myself of course.

Mk4/CMC6 -> V3 -> M1

and has anyone ever recorded at the Library before in Oxford, MS?  Younder gonna be there tonight.

You would be better served to do some research on your own gear before getting all bent out of shape and pointing fingers anywhere.  If you didnt specify a 6v but only "whatever pak goes with the mixpre" than you left it wide open.  The Mixpre can be powered on anywhere from 5v to 17v.  I actually read this post last night before you edited it,  you should chill out a little bit and quit placing blame upon others when it isnt deserved.

I was appoligizing of the things said but regardless, people are suppose to treat you as well as they want to be treated and I promise they wouldn't want me to sell them a 12v but its cool.  I did read that too on my owner's manual yesterday after I posted the finger pointing.
