Title: Nomad Jukebox Zen NX... usable for recording?
Post by: §†∑∫åµÞ≥¥ on February 21, 2005, 07:18:19 PM
It stores many hours of WMA files and has USB capabilities. Any ideas whether or not it'll work for our purposes? I'm looking for a smaller alternative to the JB3. Thanks for any info.

And there is a comparison of the ADC in an Archos Gmini400 to a V3 in the kickdowns right now. ;)

what about the Creative Zen Neeon?

It has a line-in input and I think I've read somewhere that it can record to wav format.   Unfortunately,  I haven't been able to find any documentation on their site confirming that claim.

the 5gig storage isnt too hot...the customizeable plates are nice..itd be nice if it worked, however, i think the jb3 was an extreme stroke of luck, a flash in the pan...no digi in on this device...

Yeah, the storage capacity  isn't that great, but the size of the device would be nice at times.

Caught off a mixer board (headphone jack) onto a Creative Zen Nano Plus line-in albeit Mp3 the other night...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's not wav but it was a spur of the moment opportunity that popped up and I happened to have the little gadget with me anyway.

The performers were happy to have a copy of their performance and keep me in the beverages coming the rest of the evening!  :-)
