Title: Wavelab won't recognize drive
Post by: bkirby on March 01, 2005, 09:09:23 AM
I have Wavelab all installed, and everything seems to be just fine, but when I try and burn a CD or DVD, Wavelab won't recognize my Lite-On DVD drive! Nero will still burn CDs and DVDs, but I just want to try DVD-A with Wavelab. Any ideas? My Dual-Layer Lite-On drive will burn everything under the sun. The jumper on the drive is set on "master", and it is "enabled"! I have also uninstalled and then reinstalled Wavelab and Nero trying each individually, but nothing seems to change! ???

Thanks Nick! I'll try it tonight. I assume you mean the "CD/DVD recorder updates, cdr driver tool, ASAPI update"? I'm hoping to get this running tonight!!!

I ran the cdr driver tool, which updated my registry...have not had a problem with burner recognition since...
