Title: Does the HP IPAQ H2200 series accept expansion packs?
Post by: JNT on March 01, 2005, 10:27:39 AM
I'm gathering equipment together to try PDA recording.  Does anyone know if the HP IPAQ H2200 series can accept expansion packs?  It doesn't look like they will but I didn't find a definate answer.

Like on the older Compaq iPaq models? Nope. The 2200 series has a CF and a SD slot, but AFAIK no way for a PC Card expansion pack.

Check www.brighthand.com (http://www.brighthand.com) for more PPC info.

Thanks bgalizio! +T

I like the H2200 series because it does have both CF and SD without the need for an expansion pack.  However I'm going to need the ability to run 2 CF slots.  I'd like to run an external HDD so I need 1 slot for the  PDAudio CF card and a second to connect the HDD.

Is there any way to connect an external drive through a SD slot?

That's a good question, to which I do not know the answer. I'm sure some folks at brighthand will know more (though there isn't much talk about PDA Recording).

I would be interested to know what you find.
