So my hard drive just ate a file I needed. No biggie, I have a back up of the file.
I was wondering what software people are using to take care of their drives. I have Diskeeper that I use to defragment. Is there anything else I should be using?
Don't forget to backup frequently folks!
Thanks,
MIKE B

Bart's Stuff Test 5 - good tool for checking drive integrity. it will find any bad sectors on your hard drive if they exist.

Bst5 supports very large volumes, up to 16 exabyte (17.179.869.184 Gigabyte) enough to last for at least 30 years.
