Title: Canopus vs. datavideo...
Post by: allan on March 09, 2005, 02:12:55 AM
So, i have many a video, Hi8, VHS, that i need to get into my computer and edit for dvds, i use a mac G5 dual 2.5s, 2 gig ram.....  im probly gonna get Apple's production suite, though if anyone can convince me to use avid xpress pro, i might try that instead... but what i need to know for now, is whats the best way to get that into my system at the highest quality. im looking at possibly either the Datavideo DAC-100 or Canopus ADVC-55, which is best, or is there something else in that price range thats better? thanks.
