Title: 722 doesn't play nice with other firewire devices

the 722 wouldn't show up on the desktop when connected to the g5.  eventually i recalled that i had left on an external firewire yamaha cdr drive.  i turned the cdr drive off and the 722 then appeared.

was trying to transfer van at the apollo and got a little nervous when the 722 misbehaved.  the apollo show was everything the night before at the supper club wasn't.  really didn't want to lose it!
