Gonna try making a pair of these HD Speaker cables and was thinkin' of terminating them with Banana Clips. Any suggestions.

Banana plugs?
Partsexpress.com has a good assortment of banana plugs, many are very cheap. Though you might want to consider that your signal is only as good as the weakest link so it might be worth spending a little extra to take full advantage of the upgrade.

I'd give these a whirl. I've used Dayton Audio RCA plugs and found them to be a good value, I'd guess these would be pretty decent as well.

don't use banana clips, IMHO.
Posts, tightened well, wherever possible
Use silver solder if you do solder on ends

I used silver banana plugs from homegrown audio and I've been happy with them (http://www.homegrownaudio.com/banana_plugs.htm). I used the solder plugs, but they have nicer ones now that terminate with a hex screw. I would have gotten those if they were available when I ordered.
I would also recommend that you use spades if you can, but in my case the sub has plug connectors only.
