Title: How to distinguish between MP3 and MD?
Post by: Wiesel on April 07, 2005, 07:00:31 PM
I'm currently checking all my shows for mp3 lineage, but there are some shows who look like mp3 (in spectrum analysis and spectral view) who are supposedly lossless.

So is there any way to distinguish between MD recordings and MP3 (wma/ogg/etc...) compressed audio?

hmm, i do know that some md recordings look like mp3 in spectrum analysis programs.  most likely because they were originally recorded in lp mode or something similar on the md.

yes that's the problem... I hoped that the there are some clues who who help you in identifying the format ::)

Even if it's recorded in SP mode it looks like mp3
