I wonder if this would be ideal for charging a 6v power sonic battery and the wal-mart 9v battery while driving?
Tripp Lite
Model #: PV375
12V DC input; 120V AC output; 2 outlets
375 watts continuous output
600 watts peak output
Convenient cigarette lighter plug
If so, I just so happen to be in Tripp Lite business development for my company. and i'm thinking of giving my acct rep thats over our company a call and asking him to send me one! ;)
I haven't used the TrippLite converter but I've used others. They work well.
cool! i'm also in business development for APC power. i should look into that line too! ;)
i got a 10 year old triplite. dunno what size but i can run a lappy and charge my rc packs 2@ 2.5 amps and charge a SLA all at the same time. Great for festies when i wake up too early and need more sleep i just go sit in the car w/ the AC and charge the batteries for an hour or so and catch a little more sleep.
fwiw, i have had terrible results charging the wal-mart l-ion's with an inverter
hey dustin
what kind of problems have you had charging a wallmart lion battery?
thanks

thanks in advance
Sweet.....just scored a FREE TrippLite PV150 power inverter here at work. The TrippLite rep left it in a box under my desk. ;) Now, when I go to festies (whenever that may be), I'll be able to charge batts.
nice bud!~
im too lazy to recharge at festies anymore, so i bring enuf batts to carry me over for about 26-30 hrs :)

nope, internals in the jb3+one 6v ecocharge+12 NIMH 3000mah packs, its really not that heavy at all, about the weight of 3 6v's maybe
