I've tried all kinds of combinations with Wavelab but I seem to still be getting pauses between files orwhen I create markers. Any help would be appreciated, Craig?

here's what i do:
open one wav file (usually the 1st) then go to edit>create audio montage from wave (select whole range)
right-click the empty space after the 1st track
choose insert file(s)
select all the files but the 1st track (i switch file type to detail for ease)
check boxes line up on the current track and shift existing clips to the right
set the cd/dvd tab to dvd
click the cd/dvd wizard (magic wand) set pause b/w tracks to 0 and leave the box checked and apply
what kind of dvd-a player do you have?

this is the key...the toshiba 4960 and samsung HD841 play gaps in them even when authored correctly...I went to the DVD-Audio creator as my authoring program and have had no problems since...

probably a player/hardware issue. I've never had gaps in my Wave Lab or Disc Welder Bronze authored DVDA's on my Panasonic player.

I thought my gap problem was related to my Toshiba but my dvda's had gaps on a Panasonic player that I tried this weekend. Arrrggghhhhhh! I'm 99.9% sure I've followed all instructions properly. Time to try something other than WL 5.0.

I'm using the 4960 as a transport into an MSB gold Link III. I'll try my disc's out on something else and get back.
