I'm using my external HD with my PDA. The PDA wont recognize the drive because it is formatted with the NTFS file system. I need to reformat with FAT 16 or FAT 32 but can't figure out how. I'm using Win XP Home Edition. The format function has a drop down menu for selecting the file system, but the only choice is NTFS. Any help?

try right clicking on 'my computer' and selecting manage, then go to disk management. see if you can get other options there.

Did this, but still NTFS is the only option.
It looks like I figured out how to do it from the DOS command line. I used the following command:
format f:/fs:FAT32
Seems to be working now.
