Finally putting together a "semi quality" stealth rig, but need a different battery box than the el cheapo Core Sounds version. I've already got the CSBs, would this work? If so I'm planning on adding the adjustable bass roll off and level controls.
I'm a total pansy when it comes to stealthing...in the past 4 years I've owned MBHOs with actives, Neumann 140s, and now AKG ckx actives...and have never attempted stealthing with any of 'em. Gonna go the simple CSB>M1 route for now.

My CSBs have got a multi-pin plug that goes into the CSB battery box. NOT compatible with an SP-SPSB-1 (I know, I've got one - to power my CMC-2).
Also, check with Core Sound website - if I remember correctly, don't Core Sound say specifically that other manufacturers' battery boxes aren't compatible due to CS' modifications?

Call and ask for themto use the mini xlr that Len uses in his Battery Boxes and I'd bet they will construct one for you. SP offers to make a BB for the HEB's so they must deal with the CSB plug.

you might have to build one or buy one from CS. The powering on these is different, unless the boys at SP really know how, it might not be worth it. The whole thing is ground positive.

Got an email from SP...they'll rewire the CSBs for use with one of ther boxes for $20.
Not too bad, and a +T to everyone for their help...

you gonna run the battery box into the jb3?
