Saw this on the JB3 FAQ, but can't get detinitive word:
>>limited Mac support - must transfer via USB instead of Firewire>>
Can the JB3 transfer files to a Mac?? There was some mention here of a driver that is no longer available. Is it not needed for USB transer. Can I get the files off a JB3 to a Mac desktop????
thanks
Mike
Yes I'm wondering the same thing and posted a similar question above. I found this and it may help:

I have no trouble getting files off my JB3 to my mac. I have to use USB though. Also, I use the app XNJB for the transfer. Never had any problems other than its slow.
You need to use version the last version and not the most recent of itunes and I think you'll be fine. You do have to use the app as well.

this is something I do not understand...do you want to use Itunes to transfer stuff back and forth to the jb3? I don't use itunes for anything other than playing wav files, etc. How does Itunes correlate with jb3 usage? Am I missing something?
its possible the firmware is an issue too. i also have no problem finding and transferring files from jb3 to mac, usb only however, and using the XNJB program as well, but im pretty sure i saw somewhere that the jb3 firmware had to be 1.2? maybe, i can't remember. join the jb3 group at yahoo and they have some good threads that might help.
