Title: Digi-noise and Static on 24 bit shows?
Post by: spott on April 28, 2005, 11:28:35 PM
Ok, maybe it the source (currently the 24 bit WSP 4-16-05 show) but I'm getting a lot of digi-noise throughout the show? The same thing happened with the Patterson Hood show I d-loaded off bt.etree.org.

I'm using Audio DVD Recorder to burn the 24 bit shows, has anyone else come across this?

Except for the digi-noise these 24 bit shows SMOKE!

Ok, now I'm thinking it could be my transport grrr.... I just tried to play a different DVD-A that I played this morning and it wouldn't read the disc. I've got a Marantz dv6400 that has already been back to the factory twice for firmware updates.

More news to follow.

I am having problems too. I just downloaded lds490's 24-bit DUO show from Atlanta, and I can't get it to work. When I try to play it back on my computer with a 24/96 setup, after I convert them to 24/96 wav files, all I get is static. When I try to play back on my laptop, I just get errors. My question is do I have to burn it to dvd first, and if not, how can I get these to playback? Thanks.
