I know a few of you are using this little dpa preamp, I'd be interested in knowing what kind of runtimes you are getting...

thanks

may not be long enough if you're taping a panic show where jerry joseph plans to sit it on Cortez.

i don't think that's the main goal.  he plans on using them in open taping situations, mainly with a mini-jecklin disc.  nice, cheap way to get a decent sounding rig and something a little differnt than mk4>v3...

well,... I ran all weekend on mine.  on for 9 hours apprx. (3 shows) @25dB gain, on a battery that already ahd life on it.
Three shows, 4060 j-disc >mma600 ->V3 at the stagelip dfc, all acoustic. I got some tremendous wall shaking bass last night :yummy:

did you use the new rack-mount machine to record..?

No,... It's not due to arrive until wednesday 5-11. Then, 3 gigs next weekend.

these recordings were the last of an era for me (16bit dat)
What a long strange trip its been!

i'd love to tag along maybe on saturday (if there is something doing), as i am seriously considering that unit, as well... i would love to see how it works in the flesh...

Kourosh is very good.  Extremely nice as well.  Enjoy the show macdaddy (and moke, obviously).
