hey now,
I've done some searching and can't find an answer, so I'll ask the pros...
My JB3 came loaded with someone else's crap (tons of songs). Is there a quick "delete all" to clear out the drive? Or do I have to go song by song and delete individually? Thanks.

I don't know of a bulk delete on the JB3 proper. Hook it up to your PC via USB or Firewire, access the drive with Nomad or Notmad Explorer, and you can wipe 'em all out at once.

why not just do a disk format? or are their songs you wish to keep?
-
thanks guys. nothing i need to keep. maybe I'll format. Or try the software via pc.
brian--I took some pics of your gear. I'll post em tonight or tomorrow.
thanks again!

heath, get a paperclip, hold the stop button while pushing the reset, then once a screen appears, release the stop button and press the play button once, now do a disc cleanup/format ;)
-
I do format then clean up. You will loose all your settings so remember to set it back to optial input and fix you power/backlight settings to your liking.
-
yep, disc cleanup kills your personal settings, thats why i usually only do a format
-
thanks guys--just did a format/cleanup. resetting my settings now.
