can the DPA 406x be modified to use standard xlr so i can use them with my ua5??? or will i need to run the mma6000?? or is there a adapter for the xlrs??
second...cheapest place to get the 406x?
third....are the 4022's alot more than the 4061's??

there are microdot to XLR adapters available on the dpa website - about $95 each or so

yes, a whole lot more - new price from DPA 4061 pair ~$800, 4022s maybe ~$2500 (?)

nah...i have been searching htere....not too much on ebay for DPA...one set up right now..closing soon...ill keep looking

the adapters are exactly what i am looking for...i dont know how i missed them....(microdot?? -- maybe that is how)

DPA will charge about $75 per mic to change the lemo connectors to microdot connectors, and then you could use the adapters - part number DAD6001.
mma6000 is about $450, and has only microdot inputs.
edit - no, lemo connectors are not the same as microdots. Microdot connectors look similar to a tiny coax cable connector (like the one that screws onto your television or cable box).
