Where can I get good information on this?
I would like to see if recording an organization in a open place (park, parking lot..) where no ticket or fee of any kind was required (just parked my car and walked over)
Is it illegal to record them and make that recording available to download on the Internet? Is it up to the organization? Do they have any rights to their own performance in a public place?

Seems pretty cut and dry to me... When you are in public, you have no reasonable right to privacy. Therefore, anyone is free to tape you and anything around you as they see fit. The catch is, making sure you are in "public"
