Title: Ck62/M200's >R4 matrix ?
Post by: momule on May 26, 2005, 10:30:20 PM
were gonna try running some split omnis with some/A  M200 In the middle,

would we get a delay issue running in a line or should the omnis be any closer than the card's , or vise versa..
is there a gain issue?
what would be the best split distance to run the setup? (outdoor fest)

TIA for any help,
Nick

Keep the mics the same distance from the sound source, and the ammt of cable between the mics and the r-4 the same for both pairs, and you should have no delay problems.

Indoors, I've done it with the omni's split about 8ft. Outside I've split as wide as 30ft, but only go that wide if you are way back from the pa.

No problem.

Interested to hear the results.

It has been a mostly positive experience in my attempts, but I've never done it outside.

I'd like to try it with the LSD2 in the middle and my Oktava's on the outsides.
