Ok so I just got the AKG bar from Full Compass. I now see that to change the angle/position of the bar you need a screw driver and a freakin' wrench. Do people actually carry both of these tools around, or is there a step I am missing? Whats up with this?
Thanks,
Joe

fwiw,... I carry a gerber multi-tool.
Word! Well that would certainly take care of it. Wait no...with the ADK bar it seems that you have to hold the hex end tight while messing with the screw so they don't just spin together. I should carrry a mulit tool though.
Thanks Mok3.

Fluff for the Leatherman PST-2...

My wife gave me one for xmas many years ago. I thought it would be great for camping, but a friend said, "Carry it with you all the time and you'll find uses for it everywhere." He was right! I use it to take apart computers, change oil, install car speakers, and have even used it for first aid purposes. It has been great at shows too for cutting gaffers tape, loosening stubborn stand adapters, cleaning pipes, and measuring distances in centimeters. A good multi-tool should be in every tapers bag, although it may be necessary to remove it for shows with higher security or when you fly with your gear...
Do you have a link or picture? I didn't know ADK made a stereo bar.

I love full compass, only a 5 minute drive from my place.
I made my just loose enough to configure but still tight enough for it to hold in place. It was only a quarter turn, but YMMV

Word! I actually loosened them up and when I first tried to tighten them back up again they had enough give to move. So I accidentally found out the same technique.
+t, nice work on getting that.

I always wear my Leatherman on a belt in it's carrying case. I walk through pat-downs all the time and have never been stopped because of that.... they just make me dump my water bottle ::)
I have the swiss army version of the Leatherman...great tool that I take every where, even comes with a cerated knife
I got tired of chipping my teeth on those gawdamn mic stand thread adaptors so I got a little Leatherman with the micro pliers. Here's what I keep in my bag 'o connectors that goes to every show with me.
Yeah I am gonna run out to wall mart today and grab a bunch of stuff. Nice multi tool being one of them. Thanks to all that replied, I believe I am cool with the bar now. Got it just right!
