How are they? Is the charger good? Seems like a pretty sweet deal. Any reason to get one over the other? I kind of like those coiled cables in the second one.

ya know it's funny that the talk of RC batteries here in the last few days ,the ebay postings have seen
an increase on bids for the batteries and chargers.
Whereas a week or two back there was hardly any activity on those items.
It may just that it's summer time and the kids are getting back outside to race their
rc's as well. Just seems like an amusing coincident. If and when I decide to purchase
som RC batteries I plan on going the 3300 route and they should work fine.

oh and make sure ya'll get NIMH batts over NICD batts, there is vbasically NO memory effect in the NIMH batts, which mean they will last a very long time and you can charge them whenever you have a minute :)

Cool. T's all around.
I'm getting that airsoft gun battery kit with the charger (second one). Should do the trick. Then I'll have a spare Radio Shack charger and 1600 maH battery if anyone's looking. If not I'll probably just bundle it all with the ad-20/PS-2 when I'm ready to part with that stuff.

All the activity is interesting. I'm in the process of ditching my nimhs and going w/ litium-ions. 14+ amps of lithum vs. ~13 amps of nimh w/ less than half the weight.
been running similar 7.2v nimhs for about a year. I would recomend re-terminating the connections to the batteries at least every 6 months. All the movement and re-plugging in is hard on those connections.
