hey foks...
been archiving some DATs>cdr and i came accross one where i ran one channel aud (mg210) and one channel mono board feed. theres the obvious time delay, which i think i can figure out how to fix, but im more curious about obtaining a good mix of this. i have adobe audition and thought about working with it using the 4 track option, possibly doubling the snb feed and panning it l&r, with the aud mic panned dead center. id love to hear any advice that you kind people can provide.
thanks!
chris
Panning the sbd l&r wont create any more stereo than just having one mono sbd channel. What you are gonna end up with is a mono matrix (which in some cases may be better than a stereo aud)

agreed, I'd be interested to hear a mono matrix / stereo aud comparison, maybe one set matrix and the other aud.
