can anyone help? i'm looking for an alternative to just clipping them to the short collar.
i've used large honkin alligator clips on the collar but would definitely need something tinier and more discreet.

but if i wear those, my hipster points will go straight down. :P

Didn't you get the nice DPA clips with your 4061's? I wear my 4060's pinned to my shoulders under a thin t-shirt... But then again I'm 6'3".

My DPAs didn't come with clips... I ended up ordering those separately. DPA part number DMM0004, very small and stealthy. If you're going to take your mics to a festival, plan on losing a clip and order extra (I've managed to lose one clip per festival so far :P ).

stealth hats? or clip them to a hat by your ears? croakies or stealth hats are probably the best stealth mode for festivals since they tend to be friggin hot and during the day.

just clip them to a baseball hat with the smallest binder clips you can find. That's what I do. I've read stories of hardcore anti-taping bands even being on the lookout for mics in croakies at the door (king crimson, for one...). I've had people talk right into the mic and not notice that its there.
I maintain that you won't get busted stealthing b/c someone sees your mics - you'll get busted stealthing becuase you check the levels.

If I clip my mics to my hat right at my temples, with my head between the mics, then thats HRTF, isn't it? I think I should have been more clear about where I clip them.
