Title: couple of JB3 questions

I have seen where people say they have 1 battery and others have 2
will the JB3 hold 2 batteries at once?

can the JB3 connect directly to a mac for transfers?

and on a side note are there any other hard disc recorders like the JB3 that are good?

Depends on what you define as "good".  Check the Where To Begin forum for a post dedicate to some of the HD recorders available.
