I have a few pops in my recording from last night from my vx pocket cable getting bumped and i can not get rid of them. Usually i will click on the click and go to tools>repair>replace but it will not get rid of the click. Is there another way of doing this, or am i doing something wrong.

nobody has any tips for removing clicks in a recording

I don't use SF but I'll take a shot at this for you. Does SF have a pencil/eraser feature that allows you to change the waveform? You could probably erase most of the pop to make it less noticeable.

nice idea i'm looking now, it has a pencil i'm going to try it out. +T for the help

Please let us know if it works.

it's pretty hard to use, but i got it to work a little bit. Sounds better than it did

Another option is to go back to the pre-penciled file and zoom way in on where the pops, etc. appear (if possible to a point where you're "seeing" individual samples. Generally, you can differentiate between the artificial pop/click and the recorded music. Then, select the samples that are the pops themselves and delete those samples.

well, i dunno about sf 7.0, but in wavelab 4.0/5.0, there is a dedicated declicker plugin, you simply highlight a SMALL portion of the wav, typically JUST where the click is, and ONLY in that channel, and run the declicker under the master section, works like a CHARM :)
bet the same plugin is available for sf7.0
