Title: jb3 first tape !

Hi There !
tomorrow evening i will try to tape the band "ten years after" with my new rig (jb3,bb spsb6 and mic sp cmc8)
i need help !!!!
i will tape in line in.i have tape with no mics and when i listen the tape i see (goldwave)and listen some clips.and when i tape in +12dB the clips is very present.
do i tape in dB in level 0 ?
i have read some guys tell it's a good choice and some others said it's not a good choice !
i really need help.my record is for tommorow !!!!

hi slowblow,

Si, en enregistrant at +12db tu as trop d'amplitude (des "clips" partout), tu pourrais essayer avec 0.  En fait, l'enregistrer a 0 est l'ideal.  Je ne comprends pas exactement ce que tu veux dire avec "i have tape with no mics".  Traduction?

Moi, j'utilise toujours mon jb3 a 0db.

Le niveau de dB que vous devrez misez depends sur le puissance de son que vous experience au spectacle. Vouz pourriez faire des ajustements si necessaire. Bonne chance et j'espere que mon francais est assez bon pour que vous me comprenez... a bientot!

i have taped with no mics to know if the hard drive make noise.i think the hd makes this clips.and with +12 dB the clips are really listenable ...
i will try with 0 dB ...

Si vous utlilize l'option 'mic in', je pense que le bruit du HD est plus dominant. Essaie le avec 'line in'. Peut etre que sela vous donneras plus de succes! +T et bonne chance.

P.S. Si mon francais est vraiment mal, me disez!
