I got these off ebay 2 seprate auction. I had gotten a primo mic off ebay a while back and was looking for a mate for it. It looked like the Me-80 would do the trick. When I got the 1st one I noticed the vents by the cap where different so I picked up another on ebay. I still think the Me-80 is the same mic as the nak-300. I only have the card caps but thats what I would use most of the time anyway

Nice! Have you tried recording with each mic separately to see if there's any sonic differences?
Way to improvise to a solution! +t

One of my alltime favorite audience tapes was from the Dead at Oxford Plains show and was recorded with Nak 300's, it sounded excellent.
If your new Teacs sound anything like those old 300's you should be able to pull some smokin' tapes.

They are the same. Naks where made by a company called primo. They sold the nak-300 to other companys

Yeah, they are just re-branded CM-300's. They did produce different caps though, if I'm not mistaken. Corkscrew (who was on this board but apparently left) pointed out that fact. I'll try to find the thread.
