Title: external hard drive for lappy recommendation?

i would like to beef up my storage.  i currently have a 60gb 7200rpm HD in my Dell...that's not going to last.

what do you guys use??  i'm fairly new to 'puter owning and would like to know what's been working out.

www.newegg.com they got it all. i wouldnt worry to much about what brand to get as long as its a major brand
