Title: Anyone Ever Used the ADK GS1's (small diaphragm cards)?
Post by: rockumal on July 16, 2005, 06:48:04 PM
I've liked the LD ADK recordings but I've never heard any SD ADK recordings before...

I've asked the same ??? on Team ADKs thread.  Most seem to recommend the ADK SC-Ts.  Someone mentioned the SC-1 wasn;t very good, do a search.

I don't know anything about the generis mics.

But damn, for $50 per, its almost worth buying just for play!

i don't even see specs for this mic listed on the ADK website...and it doesn't look like the retailers are listing them either... for 50 bucks each, it may be worth trying them out, but I will let someone else try them out first... or you could call Larry at ADK and ask him about intended applications.

it was me that said the SC-1s sound like crap for field recording - they sound great for near field stuff, like micing a guitar at the soundhole.
