Hi all, i'm planning to do any matrix about aud+sbd and i don't know what is the normal length for SBD patching, i have a rca<mini stereo of 1.5meters (5 ft) and i think that is too much short, any opinion from the experts, i never did any SBD patch?? ;D

I used to carry around some 15 footers if I recall but I bet if you show up early 1.5 meters would be alright... you should be able to get out of the engineer's way with that
have fun!

i normally had a very short cable, that was only about 2 feet. i leave my recorder on the mixing desk, and go run my mics. i run back over to the desk every now and then to check it, but mainly leave it alone.

more cable legth is prolly better to keep out of the soundmans way, never know when youre gonna need 15ft cables anyway, i say go long, like 15ft

ok, i keep my 5 ft for small SBD and go to 15ft for more bigger or when i need go out more of the SBD.
