Title: AD1000 > D8 clipping

I was running Gefell 210's > AD1000 >JB3/D8 last night for Blues Traveler.  My D8 "over" lights were coming on, but the Apogee wasn't even blinking yellow, and I never saw a red light come on.  I haven't listened to the whole set but from what I"ve heard I didn't hear any clipping.

Has anyone had or seen this problem before?  Should I be worried about the D8 clipping?

the d8 is just writing 1's and 0's from the ad1k... so long as the ad1k is not clipping the tape should be fine

My D8 did the same thing. Interestingly enough, when I used to run the SBM1 - I had the same problem. The over lights on the D8 would come on before the over lights on the SBM1. I always went by the AD1K or the SBM1 - never had a problem.
