Title: 24bit DVDA help
Post by: johnw on August 06, 2005, 02:08:28 PM
I haven't had any luck with any of the free or trial burning programs. The closest I can get is with Audio DVD Creator - it seems to process everything ok, but when it opens Nero to burn, it says the disc isn't large enough? The DVDR is 4.7GB and the project is only 4.3GB. Am I missing something? Also, it saves the files in the VideoTS folder and I would have expected them to be in the Audio TS folder. This Toshiba 4960 has done nothing since I got it  >:(

Audio DVD creator does not author DVDA.  That is why you see authored files in the VIDEO_TS directory and not the AUDIO_TS directory.

I would suggest having audio-dvd-creator write a directory to disk, then user your burner software to write the directory tree from it's own context.  In that context, you should be able to set or dectect the media size properly.

I tried that - still no dice. I wish I could get DVD-Audio going, but I get stuck on the mkisofs step. Thanks though +T
