Title: 24BIT Flac errors
Post by: Zee on August 08, 2005, 11:33:30 AM
WSP2006-08-06D2t14: Error unsupported compression type 65534

I ran a 4gig split on the 722 and opened the files with cdwave Traced them and then used wavelab 5.0 to add fades and listen to them on the airplane yesterday. I tried to flac them and now about 75% of the files error out. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

What it looks like its doing is FLACIng the 1st and last song of the 1set and the 1st and last of the 2nd set and the last file. This is some strange stuff I have never seen before.

EDIT: Spelling

Are you saving the files from CDWav as the "alternate 24bit format" or whatever it says??? That needs to be done. Do a search. There are a few threads on this very subject.

If you did save that way, I've got nothin.....

PS: You may want to go back and do some more spelling edits  ;)

After the weekend he's had, I'd say he's ready for the next spelling. ;)
