I just grabbed a GP ADC20 in the yard sale for backup. It doesn't come with any cables, so I'll need a power cable (for ecocharge) and a bnc>coax cable.
Who can hook a brother up?

You should double-check, but I'm pretty sure the ADC20 uses the same power connector as the V3. In which case, Ed at kindkables.com can hook you up with a power cable. As to the coax cable, I'd just get a BNC>RCA adapter and use your favorite RCA>RCA coax cable. The Radioshack adapter is a nice gold-plated, locking BNC adapter and is readily available (Catalog #: 278-303).

thanks for the input!

the adc20 has a longer plug than the v3

Thanks for the correction John, I knew there was something about the power connectors I wasn't remembering. Still, I think that means the longer plug on the cable end of the ADC20 cable will not fit in the shorter V3 socket, but the shorter barrel on the "V3" power cable should fit fine in the socket of the ADC20. Even with a somewhat shorter barrel, that cord will still make good contact internally within the socket. The problem the other way around isn't that you can't get an electrical contact, it's that the longer ADC20 connector on that power cable is too long to allow for the lock-ring to work on the V3. I'd still call Ed. :)

agreed, but im not sure if it will make contact. i'm in telluride now, or i could just walk over and give it a try. ed is the answer. :D

Heath,
I do not have the cable - but I used to run the ADC20 and I do have the power plug that goes into the ADC20 - you would just need to solder on a cable - pm me if you need it

If no cable works out for you you could also open it up and hardwire your own connector in there.

thanks john and todd for your kind words.
i do have the proper connectors for the adc20 power cable and can make a bnc > coax cable no problem.
heath, let me know if i can help you.
thanks
