Post by: willndmb on August 10, 2005, 12:53:05 PM

i think the windtech 20 is what i want but just double checking to be sure its not the 25

and if you have an opinion on these vs the superlux hm32

I use the superlux hm-32 mounts for my AKG 300's and they work great. Nice tight fit. the only thing you should be aware of is that the 5/8" threads are plastic and could strip if you cross thread them. The site I bought mine from are currently sold out. Try doing a search for other vendors out there.

i think i am going to go with windtech sp20
a few people have said they work great with the akg391 and are only $7.50
no bands to worry about breaking either and has metel threads

that was the 2 things i heard over and over about the superlux--breaking bands and stripping threads--but for $6.50 you still can't go wrong
